A major power utility company installed a new distribution station with one 100/12.5kV bank and four distribution circuit exits. A transformer bank was installed with distribution circuit fed off of one bus section and two additional distribution circuits and one auxiliary position fed off a second, connected bus section. The relay settings for the new distribution circuits were obtained, validated, and deemed acceptable. Settings for transformer low-side relay, transformer and bus differential relay, and transformer high-side relay were then developed and coordinated with the settings for the new distribution circuit relays and the existing upstream transmission line relays.
