John Sparr is retiring from full-time employment after nearly 23 years of service to Mesa and will continue to support Mesa in a part-time role. John has 49 years and counting in the field of Electrical Engineering Design. He began his career at 18 years old with Gilbert Commonwealth in Reading, PA, and moved his family to TN in 1994 after Gilbert Commonwealth successfully proposed on TVA’s fossil and hydro engineering services contract. Later, Gilbert Commonwealth was purchased by Parsons before John decided to join Mesa in March of 2000. John’s contributions to the Mesa Family have been many. However, perhaps his greatest legacy will be the important role he played in getting Mesa’s relationship with one of our biggest customers on solid footing, and he continues to this day to serve as the Lead on our Quality Review Team for that customer. A big thank you to John for his many contributions and best wishes for a happy and healthy semi-retirement!
